How Much is Your Time Worth to YOU?

Walmart boasts itself on saving you time, a one stop shop of sorts.  While it is pretty convenient, I've found they stock a  whole lot of stuff that I don't really need, and not everything I want.  I find out as I shop more and more, that I am always going to end up making at least one more stop, most of the time making two stops, at different stores to get everything I need.

To top it off, you walk into Walmart to buy two things, and it is always so crowded, you ended up waiting 20 minutes in line before you can pay for your $10 worth of items, and leave to go home and enjoy your family.

I think time is a precious commodity for all of us lately.  I mean seriously, we wait in line every where we go, stores, pharmacy, traffic, you can't even call your cable provider any more without sitting through a recorded menu for five minutes, eventually hitting the zero on your phone for an operator.  That is just time you can't get back ;)

One of the totally great things we offer our customers  through Party Idaho is time.  It takes so much time to plan an EXCELLENT birthday bash.  From shopping for items, and maybe or maybe not getting a good price to going to another store for the cake, to picking out decorations, shopping for them, getting invitations, planning the event, preparing the food, making sure the decorations are up, watching 8 kids that aren't yours, cleaning up after, I could go on and on...the next thing you know, the birthday party is over, you are knee deep in wrapping paper and you didn't see your daughter open a single gift.  It's too much.  It takes at least ten hours to plan a super great party.

So let's do the math, hypothetically you make $15/hour.  For ten hours of your time you would spend $150 to PLAN your child's party.  That doesn't even count what you spend out of your pocket for everything you need.

Decorations, cake, goody bags, costumes, accessories,  etc. etc and so on, could run over $200.  You don't have a party coordinator to entertain the children, so you settle for a jump house maybe?  You can tack on another $150 for that.

I have searched high and low to find great deals on the great items I use for my parties.  I have planned the party you are thinking about already and made adjustments for the utmost fun.  I will set up and take down all decorations.  I will keep the kids on a schedule of fun and frolic.  All you will have to do is relax, and maybe assist  a child when he or she needs help.  It's easy!

Or better yet - take pictures of your event!  How many times has a party ended and you've been so busy doing everything, you forgot to take pictures!

Your children will be entertained by party coordinators who get on their level and have a great time.  Party Idaho has fun, whimsical parties that will leave your children chattering about it long after it's over.

I love planning birthday parties for kids!

I am a mother of two older children (15 &10).  Every year since they were 1 I have planned great big, fun birthday events to celebrate their birthdays.  I love birthdays and never miss a chance to have one myself.  What a gift right?  To grow older, life is great.    I became a girlscout mom volunteer this year.  Wow those girls are truly amazing.  Just to be a part of a group like that is such a great thing.  I love being a positive influence in their lives.

I have the uncanny way of fashioning normal every day household things into really cool things.  I love crafting, making things from scratch and just being a mom.   I love to channel my "Inner Martha"

In addition to my list of  talents, I am a web designer.  I've been doing it for awhile and luv to build websites., logos and  fun designs.

So why not combine these fabulous talents and utilize them for fun AND profit!  ha ha.  I built www.partyidaho.com because I truly love the idea, the concept and I love children.  Please feel free to browse my site and see what I have to offer, I will be adding more photos and new party options soon.

I thought having a journal or a blog of sorts about me and my party business would be a really fun and unique way to meet people and make contacts. Plus I love to have a place to put down random thoughts, and share my designs and ides.

Stay tuned.  :)
